「かばのヒルミー」シリーズの中の一冊です。このシリーズでは、かばのヒルミーが大自然の中、仲間との触れ合いを通してイスラームに関するいろいろなことを学びます。

このお話では、「感謝すること」をテーマにしています。ある日、かばのヒルミーは自分の水場が狭すぎる、とさらに良い水場を求めて旅に出ます。そして、最後に大切なレッスンを学びます。
